MY DAD GOT ENGAGED!!!!! (I'll explain out the story of my mom sometime soon.) Then there was the Christmas program, preparing gifts, making gifts, wrapping gifts, looking forward to Christmas vacation, starting Christmas vacation, wondering about God's will for my future college road, praying about college, playing piano, preparing a cello and piano duet (I played piano) with my sister to play at our church's Christmas Eve service...I've been blest with an amazing life! I was dancing in our kitchen (my dad even waltzed a bit with me, which makes me happy) earlier, and am now calming down and starting to think about going to bed before Christmas arrives. I had a sleepover last night-you lose a lot of sleep when the mattress you and your friend are on deflates at some point through the night, but just enough stays in that it gets really uncomfortable, because it is like balancing on a half-full balloon. We all (siblings and friends) woke up around 5:30 or so, I've been told. We went back to sleep. I ended up deflating the mattress all the way. It needs to be replaced! Today I also sang at a funeral. It was so sad. I've heard that the family doesn't get along well in that family. The family was a small group, and there were so few people there. It was sad that this man had so few who mourned his death and came to attend his funeral. I didn't know him that well, but my sister and I sing together a lot, so we were asked to sing there. An interesting experience on Christmas Eve-sad, too.
Isn't it wonderful to think that about two thousand years ago God's own Son loved each of us so much that He came to earth to die for us so that we could be cleansed free from our sin because of His virgin birth? I've read that Jesus was probably (history suggests) born closer to September. Thus, December would be closer to the conception of our Saviour-the miracle of the Christmas story!
Don't forget to pray this Christmas for those mourning, for those deployed, for those who are ill, for those who are homeless, for those in depression, and for those who are suffering abuse or other trials. May God bless them, and may they all receive the help and support that they need.
Merry Christmas, everyone, from Indi Raine and the Z Babies (Zen, Zally Azure, and Zion Olympus)! May your season be blest!
