I was at a teen retreat this weekend. It was great! The speaker was amazing and the fellowship superb. God held back the snow and gave us a weekend to remember! I learned a lot and felt refreshed spiritually.
Today I sent in a message to the camp that I worked at last year, saying that I would love to work there again this year, Lord permitting.
Brief commercial break now:
(I had to add this.)
If you've never been to Christian camp before, book your space today! Nearby Christian camps offer great fellowship, wonderful friendships, awesome preaching, and an opportunity to go apart and let God work in your heart. Pray about, talk to your parents and pastor(s), and find a great teen or family camp to attend. They might even have discounts for large families with lots of kids attending the same camp!
I know that I'm a horrible sinner. I struggle. Sometimes others would not know that I'm a Christian. I don't always live by the motto of WWJD. But you know what? I'm going to try to grow closer to God. I want to be a better example and messenger for Him. I'd love to be part of the revival that my community, country, and world needs.
What about you?
Maybe we can get prayer groups together (even by e-mail), Bible studies going, tract distribution happening, or Bible verse memorization challenges together. I know that its something that I'm a little unsure of how to start, but its something that's worth all of the time. I need revival in my life. My world needs revival. And with God's help, maybe I can work through my struggles and get through the bad days and be a better example.
God bless!
